Trip Prep - Doing It The Easy Way, Google Earth

I try to avoid spreadsheets as much as I can. They are stale and make me think of my job. So when it comes to working on personal projects, I prefer to find more innovative ways of doing things.

You may be familiar with a couple of posts I wrote recently, titled “Trip Prep…” Writing these was find and they proved helpful but I longed for something more user-friendly and visual.

Hence, see a wee sneak peak of what I am doing below. It’s using Google Earth and the .kml files I managed to scrounge together, the long way, from the Te Araroa Trust website.
