Preparation – Mt Lofty, SA

August 7, 2010

Headed up to Mt Lofty, which is a 8 or so kilometre tramp not far from Adelaide, South Australia. The track is popular with all sorts. The section around the first and second falls is popular with families but the track above that is much steeper and rugged and certainly pushes even somebody that is relatively fit.

My friend Angus and I were quite pleased with our efforts. We were up and back in less than a couple of hours; breaking when we wanted. Could have done better but I’m not disappointed. I’ll be up there again next weekend for sure.

Food as Fuel – A large piece of toast with loads of Nuttelex and Vegemite, a packet of delicious sesame and toffee chips from China Town and a piece of vegan banana bread with Nuttelex. Oh, and a medium soy latte.
